Gardening Calendar ~ Summer (June through Aug.)

Plant:

·          August ~ Fall blooming perennials such as Texas Asters, Blue Mistflower, Mexican Bush Sage

Prune:

·          August ~ Roses for the last time. Shrubs and groundcovers as needed.

Fertilize:

·          Chlorotic plants using Fish Emulsion, Liquid Seaweed, and Chelated Iron

·          Shrubs and groundcover with organic granular mixtures.

·          Lawns in September with Green Sense or Sustain.

·          Roses in August for last feeding with Bat Guano and Earthworm Castings
