Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Do not over water – it will stretch and flop over.

Pruning:

Cut back to the ground in mid to late February. During the growing season in mid to late June, cut back by 1/2  to 2/3 so that the ultimate blooming height will be reduced.

Other Comments:

Produces 18” spikes of purple/white combination flowers in conjunction with silvery grey foliage.
