Crimson to medium red flowers have raspberry-like fragrance. A lush grower that becomes compact with pruning (3 - 6 ft. x 3 - 4 ft.). Profuse bloomer. Makes an excellent choice for a hedge or specimen. The small, semi-double flowers of this China are cupped and a clear and unfading red, sometimes with a white streak. They appear in clusters and repeat regularly throughout the year. It is an excellent plant for the border or in a container. Sometimes known as the "old Bermuda red rose", it has naturalized itself on that island proving it can grow well under adverse conditions. 'Cramoisi' is the French word for crimson. Seedling of 'Salter's Crimson China'.
