It is not a willow, despite its name. It does have bright green willow-like foliage, and blooms spectacular trumpet shaped, orchid like blossoms all summer long. Several varieties exist with flower colors from the natural pinkish-purple to pink, burgundy, and white. Well drained soil is a must.
