'Fair Bianca' is the first of David Austin's white roses. Medium-sized flowers are flat and quartered forming full rosettes with pink to buff centers. Very strong spice-like scent. An upright plant, it combines well with perennials and bulbs in borders. Planting in groups has a great effect. 'Bianca' was the sweet sister of Katherina, the shrew, in "The Taming of the Shrew". |
