Pure white, double blooms with a lemon-yellow center. Strong violet fragrance. Lovely on a trellis or large arch. An amateur hybridizer raised this valuable Noisette in a window box in France, little knowing that it would become one of the most popular ramblers in rose history. Once established, this climber will grow 20 feet in a single season. Long, trailing canes are covered with smooth, gray-green foliage and small thorns. 'Lamarque' was named in honor of a French general. 'Blush Noisette' was one of its parents.
