Large, spreading bush with butterfly-like flowers in masses. Blooms open yellow, turn to pink and then crimson. Commonly known as "The Butterfly Rose". Long flowering period. This rose was first probably introduced to horticulture in 1934 by Swiss botanist Henri Correvon of Geneva, who obtained it from Prince Ghilberto Borromeo's garden at Isola Bella. |
