The first rose to be patented under federal guidelines. A strong spring bloomer, can be used as a cascading bush or a climber (10 ft. x 15 ft.). Glossy, blue-green foliage with pale pink, fragrant blooms. Canes are pliable enough to accommodate any garden design. It was discovered in a Connecticut nursery owned by Henry Dree. Sport of Dr W. Van Fleet which was entered into the Rose Hall of Fame in 1997 by the World Federation of Rose Societies as one of the world's favorite roses.
