Long, pointed buds open to rich medium yellow flowers of classic form. They have a light fragrance. Foliage is glossy dark green and disease resistant on a compact, medium bush that is easy to grow. Top exhibition miniature. For over 20 years it has set the standard by which all other yellows are judged. The name of the rose was intended to be 'Dorothy Hamill' to honor the Olympic figure skating champion, but she rejected the offer. |
